Gyrofit kids is a dynamic exercise program that offers fitness instruction, nutritional counselling and motivational training packed with fun training methods to help kids reach there  fitness and lifestyle goals, whether it is to improve sporting performance, get into shape, improve posture or just have, more energy!

What exercises will we do and what equipment will we use?


A Gyrofit workout make use of contemporary fitness equipment.  The Gyroboard that is the world’s first in stability training and Gyrofit exercises classes are the only place in South Africa where you will be able to train on this equipment.  It enhances your core stability, joint stability and strength.  This will improve posture, agility and speed and will give you a great feeling of achievement!

TRX training

The TRX Suspension Trainer, developed by Navy SEALS, takes advantage of gravity and your bodyweight to challenge every muscle, especially your core

  • Integrated exercises engage intensive, interconnected movements, often multi-planar, which require coordinated efforts. This type of exercise enhances the nervous system’s ability to effectively coordinate movement at higher levels and build strong motor patternsincrease stabilization and functional muscle mass. The core is challenged in every exercise – the core is more than your abs! The core includes pelvis, abs, back and chest muscles. Agility drills

 Agility is the ability to efficiently coordinate the changing of body position. It requires an individual to possess adequate strength, power, balance and body control. It's an essential component to succeeding in sports such as basketball and tennis, where athletes are required to change directions, implement speed bursts and quick stops and react to their sport's ever-changing situations. With training, agility can be improved upon, resulting in benefits to athletes and non-athletes alike.

Agility training incorporates components of learning, focus, balance, and coordination. This type of training can stimulate richer connections among multiple brain regions by demanding them to work together.
